The words "we are the body of Christ" are spoken a lot in church. One thing that we mean when we say that is, when Christ ascended to heaven, his physical body left earth and and the church, WE are now the body of Christ. We are Christ's hands, feet, and body in this world. To quote Teresa of Avila, "Christ has no body but yours, No hands, no feet on earth but yours, Yours are the eyes with which he looks Compassion on this world, Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good, Yours are the hands, with which he blesses all the world."
We take that charge seriously and participate in ministries that are diverse, wide in scope, local, and global.
Here are some of the ministries that we have worked with.
